ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Originally from Quito Ecuador, Gabriela Trueba started her career as an artist and designer working in the NYC art world. After discovering a fascination for 3D technology, Gaby took it upon herself to learn everything 3D including a spectrum of 3D software. Her experience navigating the steep barrier to entry, time spent learning, the high cost of 3D programs and computing power necessary, led her on the journey to democratize 3D and ultimately build Womp.

Womp is a 3D creation software built by a team of artists and engineers who experienced the uphill learning curve of 3D and set out to re-invent 3D and make it accessible to anyone. Womp’s innovative “liquid-like” 3D technology makes it easy to create, share, edit and customize 3D files.
