ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Jenn Hyman co-founded Rent The Runway, Inc. in 2009 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Hyman is responsible for all areas of the business including technology, fashion, sales, marketing, operations, customer experience, and people management.

She served as the Director of Business Development at IMG and focused on the creation of new media businesses for IMG’s Fashion Division. Ms. Hyman also managed an online advertising sales team at WeddingChannel.com. She was an in-house entrepreneur at Starwood Hotels, creating new leisure business for the company, including a wedding business that was recognized on Oprah for its innovation.

Ms. Hyman serves on the Board of an all girls public school in Brooklyn. She received her B.A. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School.
